To find the hidden gem of Litibu you first have to pass through the village of Higuera Blanca which is located about 45 minutes north and west of Puerto Vallarta on the road from Punta Mita to Sayulita. Litibu which is not really a town but more of a beach community has about 20 to 30 full time residents made up of Canadians, Americans Europeans and of course Mexicans that come to the beach on weekends.
